Views from the Rough, started initially as a call-in from the Tour to a Local radio show, then it evolved to the last ½ hour of that same show. Then in 2010, CBS Sports radio affiliate in Washington, DC gave Kevin the opportunity, with his own 1 hour show on Saturday’s. In 3 weeks, the ESPN affiliate in Baltimore, gave Kevin a 2 hour show on Sunday’s. Then in 26 weeks VFTR was heard around the Country on 159 stations.
From the very first show, Kevin’s guests have all been the biggest movers and shakers in that weeks news. The very 1st show line-up was Jim Nantz, Fred Couples, Frank Robinson, Tony Siragusa and Nancy Lopez. Kevin hasn’t lost a step, in his very 1st Podcast he features Jim Nantz, the previous weeks PGA Tour Genesis Open Champion JB Holmes, LPGA Commissioner Michael Whan and LPGA Star and darling Lexi Thompson.
So as Jim Nantz says in the open, Views from the Rough, a golf show unlike any other. Sit back and enjoy and we hope that you will check in and listen every week.
